O tyle, o ile mało kogo dziwi to, że nie jem mięsa, to jednak wciąż wiele osób nie rozumie jak mogę tak bardzo ograniczać nabiał i kierować swoje żywienie w stronę weganizmu. 🤷 Skąd to zdziwienie? Ano nie wiem, może Wy mi powiecie? 😁 Kilka lat temu faktycznie ciężko było kupić mleko roślinne, a o wegańskich kabanosach można było tylko i wyłącznie pomarzyć. 🙄 Czasy jednak się zmieniły i teraz nawet kupno rośllinnych paluszków "rybnych", czy jogurtu kokosowego nie sprawia problemu. 🌿 Z nabiałem wciąż walczę, jednak 95% mojej diety oparta jest na roślinach. Kids are on holidays & Christmas is so close. ~ ~ It’s been a great year with over 300 peeps through my courses but like everyone, I’m tired. ~ ~ All my classes for the year are done, my thriving shopping trips have finished & today I was home writing content & working out the running sheet for filming my online workshop next week. ~ ~ In my house dress & enjoying being in a me bubble, I didn’t have to be ON…because when I’m ON for my workshops or coaching peeps…I’m fully ON! Today, I feel like RECHARGING has begun to happen & I had my first lot of Christmas excitement because it truly is the most wonderful time of the year. ~ ~ The reason I do what I do is because I LOVE people. I love hearing your stories & laughing with you. My heart is so often moved with compassion as I hear peeps anxiety & grief in their health journey. I love it when I hear health success stories about body’s healing through LOTS of good quality veg, whole foods & high powered supplements…. because like I always say… ~ ~ “YOUR BODY WANTS TO FIGHT FOR YOU”. ~ ~ But my absolute all time fave is empowering you gorgeous girl to thrive because like the old saying says…PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. ~ ~ So as we wind up for the year & decade, let’s not blow it because we feel weary, uninspired in the kitchen or because chocolate & refined sugar is abounding every where we go. ~ ~ Let’s do what we know….GREEN SMOOTHIE, cut yourself up some carrot & raw green beans with a handful of raw almonds. Onlangs maakten wij deze granola met havervlokken, cashewnoten, pompoenpitten, zonnenbloempitten, No-Bee Honey(van BioToday) en pure chocolade 🍫 ✨ Meng alle ingrediënten in een kom (- de chocolade) en verspreid dit over de bakplaat. The perfect festive recipie 🥐@barbarafrenchvegan . Ingredients rolls : - 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour - 2 tsp yeast - 1 tbsp cane sugar - 30 gr Vegan butter (2 tbsp) - 3/4 cup plant based milk Ingredients filling : - 4 tbsp cane sugar - 2 tbsp Vegan butter - 1 to 2 tbsp cinnamon or more Method : - in a large bowl, pour lukewarm milk with butter and add yeast. Let sit 10 min. - time elapsed, add sugar then in 3 steps flour. Stir each time. At the end you should have a non sticky dough. - On a lightly floured surface knead for 5 -10 min until soft dough. Cover the bowl with towel and let sit for 1h at room temperature. Not in a cold place. - then on floured surface roll out the dough into thin rectangle. - in a bowl pour butter, sugar and cinnamon. Stir until well combined. Spread the filling. - starting at one end tightly roll up the dough and with serrated knife or string cut the dough into 2 inch section. Position in a well buttered round, square or rectangle tin. Vegan Jacket Potatoes! 🥔 As a Belgian, potatoes are a staple in our diet and this is the first time I’ve made some baked ones. If all vegan food is this yummy, then count me in!! 😉 — Ingredients: 4 medium normal potatoes, 4 small sweet potatoes, 2 tbsp rapeseed oil, 300g chickpeas, 100g baby spinach, 1 garlic clove, 3 spring onions, 1/2 tsp chili flakes, 1/2 tsp madras curry powder, 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1 tbsp sunflower seeds, 8 tbsp greek coconut yoghurt, 1 tbsp sriracha, 60g mixed sprouts, salt & pepper — Directions: Pierce the potatoes with a fork and rub them with 1 tbsp of oil. Place in a 200 degree Celcius oven for 45 minutes. Add remaining oil to a frying pan and toss in the chickpeas, garlic and chili flakes. Fry for a couple of minutes, then add in the spring onions and spinach. Once spinach is fully wilted, set aside. Mix the sriracha with the yoghurt and toast the seeds. Cut open the baked potatoes and stuff with the chickpeas, generous dollop of sriracha yoghurt, sprinkle of seeds and top it off with some mixed sprouts. Schnittchenteller 🤤⠀ ⠀ Eine Zeit lang kam häufig der Mythos auf, dass Brot böse sei und vermieden werden sollte. Und natürlich habe auch ich daran geglaubt, motiviert durch den Gedanken, dann noch gesünder zu leben. ⠀ ⠀ Aber warum sollte Brot böse sein? 🤔⠀ Natürlich gibt es riesige Unterschiede und ich bin keine Ernährungsexpertin, aber in Brot stecken wichtige Nährstoffe! ⠀ ⠀ Natürlich hängen da die Werte total von Sorte und Herstellung ab. Aber ihr könnt Brot auch ganz leicht selber machen. 😁⠀ ⠀ Es gibt hunderte, sehr einfache Rezepte. ⠀ Manchmal mische ich auch einfach ein bisschen was zusammen und gucke was dabei raus kommt. 😅⠀ Hier zum Beispiel ein Brot mit Sonnenblumenkernen, Dinkelmehl, Protein, Leinsamen und Trockenhefe. ⠀ ⠀ Das schmeckt nicht nur richtig lecker, sondern ist auch noch ziemlich gesund! 🤩⠀ ⠀ Und dann natürlich noch getippt mit meinen Lieblingsaufstrichen. Terre a Terre yesterday was absolutely phenomenal! I feel so lucky to have finally gone there after years of meaning to! It isn’t any wonder that it’s on literally every vegan and vegetarian food bucket list online and has been for years! ♥️ They’re one of those restaurants that do exquisite things with plants and make such interesting combinations with the most amazing flavours and textures. It really is the type of food I consider to be vegan fine dining! ♥️ My highlights were definitely having meringue for the first time in years, the rice cakes that tasted a bit like prawn crackers (which I also haven’t had in years) the tofu dumplings and the chocolate cake was simply divine! ♥️ Also the staff in there were so incredibly lovely. One of our guests had type 1 diabetes and the waitress was the kindest, most helpful and understanding individual about it! She was everything you’d ever want from a profesional in this environment and it was a pleasure to meet her on a personal level too! I remember having lunch at home as a child. If my elbows made its way near the table, my mother would be watching me like a hawk and would hardly insist to remove them... coz in Filipino culture, it is generally considered a “bad luck” to put your elbows on the table.
