Let’s talk Galaxies Edge! Now I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan but I was truly blown away with this land! The details all around and you truly felt like you were on another planet or in the movies! The land was also HUGE! It didn’t even feel too crowded because of how big it was. It was beautiful to see and I bet if you were a big Star Wars fan, you’d probably cry cause it’s that amazing! We like apple pie. We like funnel cake. We HAD to try the Apple Pie Funnel Cake at Stage Door Cafe in Frontierland! 🤪 This holiday treat is $8.99 before AP discount and could easily satisfy 2-3 people. We liked the flavor of the spiced apple and cajeta streusel, but we really wish the funnel cake had a little more softness to it. Ours might have been a tad over fried, but it was still tasty and fun to share. We’ve only ever had funnel cakes from Hungry Bear, and we think we might stick to their expertise in the field. Has anyone else tried it? They now have an @impossible_foods burger (in addition to their Vegan Plate and Vegan Pasta, which I have documented previously; see my blog).⁣ ⁣ It is called the So-Cal Impossible Burger and it comes with avocado, pickled onions, tomato, and arugula. ⁣🍔🥑🍅🥬 ⁣ Modifications needed: omit the sriracha mayo, and switch out the bun. The normal bun contains honey, but the kid's sesame bun (pictured here), the focaccia, and the ciabatta bread are vegan. The bread suppliers change sometimes though, so make sure to double check when you are here.⁣ ⁣ The Cajun fries are in a shared fryer. If preferred, they also have a side salad, corn on cob (without butter), or veggies (peas and carrots) as sides.⁣ . It is only on the lunch menu, but depending on availability, they might be able to make it during dinner hours as well. ⁣ The seasoning on these Cajun fries is 💣💣💣!! There is a special place in my heart for well-seasoned fries!⁣ 🍟 ⁣ This is quite an upgrade from their previously available vegan dishes, which were only on the secret allergy menu. Currently obsessed over the photos that my hubby Keal took of me during our trip to Disneyland. Like mega obsessed! To be honest, I used to HATE taking photos. I’m a shy introvert by nature and so taking photos in a crowded park used to cause so much anxiety for me. PLUS we did not have the skills to capture what you see here. My husband says that we get good photos now not because of his skills behind the camera (but I beg to differ), BUT because he and I now feel comfortable being goofy and silly in front of crowds of people while we wait for the window where he can snap a photo. The rest is just Lightroom ;) So it goes to show you... practice makes perfect and good things come outside of your comfort zone. It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas and I am still feeling that lingering Disney magic from our trip. Swipe to see! Also, how many photos can I get while holding my mickey ears?!
